It was around 9:30 to 10:00 pm on Christmas Eve 1974 or 75. We were leaving Lake Lorman in Madison County going home with my wife and two young sons. We all saw a bright light over a field on the right side of the road as we traveled West to Pocahontas. I stopped and we watched the thing stop when we stopped. I got out of the car, but did not leave from the car door because I was a bit nervous. I watched the light for about 15 seconds then started moving away from the car to get a better look. When I got near the front of the car, the light started moving East toward the Lake and then moved very quickly. It was out of sight before I could turn around.

i seen something odd one night coming home from hattiesburg, two lights that i thought were stars, met in the sky and then went in opposite directions, all within a few seconds. i have also seen objects during the day, just floating oblong, silver, vessels that make no noise at all. i have seen this many times in my life time and i do not mind telling others about these things. which usually gets a doubtful look or someone will ask if i was drunk or on meds when i talk about these things. ha,ha, i wonder why people are so afraid to say anything,

I am the youngest son of David Braband the first person to leave a comment. I was in the backseat of the car that night, though i was young i still remember like it was yesterday. it pretty much has been imprinted in my memory. i have never been worried about what people thought when i told what happened of course i got some crazy looks but i believe thats just human nature for people who have never experienced this phenomenon. but i saw it i remember the light and then it leaving quickly.

I was around 14 years old on a summer night between 10 and 11 pm waiting in a truck in front of my cousins girl friends house, when i seen a man in the shadows trying to hide. He went past two houses over a fence into the woods, a few minutes later i saw four bright lights just above the tree top in the same area the man went. The lights went down behind the trees,a few minutes later my cousin came out the house we started to leave. i was telling him what saw he asked where i pointed and the lights were coming back up he said its a helicopter, i said there is no sound he killed the engine there was no sound. we sat a watched it go up and just sit until it zipped off with speed that was unreal.

I’m a life long abductee along with two of my four children. I’ve seen UFO’s a few times but the closest one occurred in 1996 some weeks before my 3rd child was born. I snapped to already sitting up on the couch and facing the sliding glass door in the dining room. Just inches away from the sliding glass door was a typical saucer hovering about 1.5′ over the concrete. It was so close you could not see the edges but best guess put the craft at about 12′ to 14′ across and 4′ to 5′ tall. It had a small antenna on top about 10″ to 14″ high and a ring around the bottom light (propulsion system?) with a diameter of 4′ or so. I was exciting and wanted to touch the craft so I got up and walked toward it. I could see the florescent light was illuminated above the craft as this was a covered patio but the switch was turned off. As I got near the door to open it, the craft start slowly climbing and penetrated the ceiling/roof. I would imagine at closest I was several feet away.

I have a book in the works which is more a less a compilation of my “scenarios” as I call them. It seems “they” place my children and I into training type environments to prepare for an upcoming event. We have been shown natural disasters, wars, etc and during these experiences we seem to been in training. During some of the experiences we will have paranormal abilities (i.e. levitation, telepathy, seeing consciousness, teleporting, etc). We seem to exclusively be able to use these abilities to help others or at least protect them during training.

In one experience I remember being placed into a room with about 8 people. I could read all their minds simultaneously and tell from whom the stream originated. In another I saw people being abducted and telekinetic’s was able to down and destroy the ship but only being able to safely rescue 30 or 40 of about 200+ people. I had an option to try and save all but there was a high probability that everyone could have died in the attempt.

But anyway like most abductees it never ends.

It was May 1973, I was 16, it was about 10 p.m. a beautiful spring night. I went outside to get my jeans off the clothes line. I looked up at the sky and thought how beautiful it was, everything was bright and clear. Then I saw this bright light going across the sky. I thought it was a weather balloon. The light got right in front of me and stopped, then it went straight up and disapeared. I got spooked after that and went in. I never told anybody until a few years ago. I know it was not a weather balloon because I was in the Army and I was a weather observer.

If you’re familiar with the Gulf Breeze UFO, then you know what I saw many years ago. My story was included in “UFOs are Real: Here’s the Proof” by Ed Walters and Bruce Maccabee. It happened in the early/mid-1960s, when I was about 5 years old and living in Pensacola, FL. One night (my best estimate, about 2 AM), I found myself suddenly instantly awake. Without thinking, I got out of my bed, walked to the living room window, pulled aside the curtain, and watched a “flying saucer” hover over and move down the street. I then closed the curtain and went back to bed. I was never afraid; I simply felt that I was meant to see it. Over the years, I tried to explain it away as something else because I got the impression that UFOs were huge crafts that would never fit (or go unnoticed) on a street in a very populated neighborhood. When I saw Ed Walters’ photos of the Gulf Breeze UFO hovering over a road, it was such a relief! Now I could truly own the memory of seeing a UFO that looked almost exactly like the one in the photo. “My” UFO had orange-yellow lights going around the central “porthole” section; I don’t recall seeing light coming from the bottom. I don’t remember hearing any sound, although I think it must have been humming because I later tried to convince myself that it had been a mosquito-fogging truck. (Yeah, right. Those come along at 2AM, are round, and hover several feet above the street.) My sighting was at least 20 years before the Gulf Breeze flap, but it was definitely the same type of craft.

The only other sighting I had was in 1976 or 1977. I was on the University of Southern Mississippi campus on a warm spring night. There were a lot of low clouds blowing about overhead, reflecting the ground light. I just happened to glance up and saw a large, dark triangular shape among the shifting clouds. There was no sound, and the clouds quickly covered the triangle, but it was definitely there. My “reasonable explanation” was that Keesler Air Force Base was not very far away, so what I saw could have come from there. Maybe it did, but it was odd (and too early to be a Stealth aircraft).

I was one of many people who saw a UFO over the campus of Mississippi University for Women one night in October 1973. This took place within days of Hickson and Parker’s UFO encounter in Pascagoula. I was walking back to my dorm following a night class when something caught my attention above an oak tree. I’ve always described what I saw as a “real ‘Beam Me Up ScottY UFO.” The round saucer was silent, and I estimated it to be about 50 feet above the ground. Scared to death that its occupants were going to come out and get me, I stood perfectly still, hoping they wouldn’t notice me. In a few minutes, the saucer’s lights began moving around it faster, and suddenly it went straight up into the air and began moving south at an incredible rate of speed. To my amazement, it made a huge loop and swooped down between a row of dorms near the rear of campus. The screams of girls outside the dorms told me they were seeing it as well. Shaking, I ran to my dorm. I didn’t want to see it anymore. Fortunately, two more students were coming into the dorm from the parking lot at its rear, and they looked as scared as I did because they had been seeing the same thing. The Columbus Commercial Dispatch ran a story on the sighting the next day. I’ve always regretted I never saved a copy of the story because it was proof that I wasn’t the only one who had seen it. When telling people about that night, I always say I know exactly what I saw, but I don’t know where it came from or who was inside it, but I know many people like myself are telling the truth about UFOs.

It was 4:25 a.m. on Wednesday 12/15/04 and I was preparing to set out for work. I had taken some water outside to deice my truck windshield and turn on the engine to allow it to become warm enough to use the heater. Having done so I went back in the house for a few minutes. Then I went back outside and was standing on my porch when I noticed some (?) clustered lights in the western hemisphere. I just figured it was a plane, however I stood there and watched these lights which appeared low on the horizon. After a couple of minutes they didn’t seem to be getting closer, but neither did they appear to be getting further away. Then all of a sudden a single light (about half way between where I was located and where the other lights were)appeared and SHOT DOWN at an angle and then SHOT UP…IN A CHECK MARK FASHION. This particular light lasted only a few seconds. The clustered lights beyond this were still there. I was in shock…I have never seen this happen before! If it was a ‘falling star’ it certainly wouldn’t have shot up again!! I was in awe and shock of what I just witnessed. After a couple moments I got in my truck and headed for work. Within less than 1 minute after leaving (I was heading east), a plane was approaching from behind me and to my north and this plane was flying east. I couldn’t see how this could be the same “clustered lights” I had seen previously because of the distance it had been during the sighting and it didn’t seem possible it could have approaced me that quick. Even if they are one and the same it doesn’t explain the other single light which shot down and up in the check mark fashion!!

The lights moved in reverse, forward, up and down.

On a Tuesday morning, August 24, 2004, at approximately 5:45 a.m. I was driving to work when I saw a light in the sky in the southern hemisphere. I had stopped my truck just a short distance before reaching the end of my road to adjust my seat since my son had used the truck the night before and had repositioned it for himself. This is when I first saw the light. I didn’t think much of it since I see planes all the time. After adjusting my seat I continued driving a short distance (about 60 ft.) before reaching the stop sign where I’d turn left (east) to go to work. Once I stopped at the stop sign I noticed something unusual about the light…now there were about 8-10 lights real close together in a arch or 3/4 shaped shaped round pattern (there were lights inside the ‘arch’ too) . I thought this is weird. Then these lights went in reverse, forward, up and down and were blinking at an extremely rapid pace…or at least much faster than a plane light . The lights were blinking independent of one another..not all at the same time…each point of light about the size of a round pencil eraser and were about 30 degrees above the tree level. They looked like they were close to the beach even though I couldn’t tell for sure since a wooded area faced me. I thought “Oh my God…what is this”?!! Then they slowly drifted below the horizon. From my position there are woods facing me just across the road where I was stopped which extend southward for about a mile or less…beyond that are subdivisions. The beach/Gulf of Mexico is only about 6 minutes south of my home and I work about 3 minutes from home. The fire station is in between my house and work. I asked one of the firemen who comes regularly in the store where I work if he’d seen these lights. He just made fun of me and laughed about me seeing an u.f.o. Funny thing is I never said it was an u.f.o….I just said they were strange lights which moved in an erratic pattern.

Now here comes an even weirder part to this scene. I had a dream just before waking up that morning about visiting my Mom in the hospital. She has been deceased since 1996. I don’t recall any conversation in the dream. however I remember feeling tired in the dream and decided to lay down on the lounge chair (in the dream) that extends out to form a mini ‘bed’. I was laying on my side facing the wall when I felt a hand touch the back of head. Then the hand touched my upper back. Then I felt these hands and arms scoop under my body and lift me up VERY gently. I never felt any fear. What I felt was a VERY LOVING male presence caring for me. When he lifted me up it felt as though it was completely effortless…like there was no gravity beneath me…I guess like a floating sensation even though I could still feel these arms beneath my body. Then the dream ended. I woke up, dressed for work, got in my truck and WHAM…the lights appeared!!

Haunting overhead light

My parents and I had been visiting my aunt and uncle in Pass Christian, Ms. We lived in the next town just east of them…in Long Beach. We had been invited to have chicken gumbo at their home. After finishing supper my Dad had fallen asleep while watching T.V. It was around 2:00 a.m. before we finally left for home. We were traveling east on Pineville Rd. when all of a sudden the entire inside of our vehicle lit up a bright blueish/white. We had no idea what was going on and were scared half to death. The light seemed to extend to either side of us. There were fenced fields to our left and right near the road and the light touched just beyond the fences to the best of my recollection. There was no sound and no other vehicles in the area. I remember my Dad stopping the car. My Mom said…”What’s that…where is it coming from”? I was sitting in the middle of the back seat and couldn’t figure out what was happening. My first instinct was to look up because I thought the overhead car light had turned on, but then quickly remembered it was busted out. I believe Dad had stepped out of the car, crossed the ditch to the right of us, looked out in the field, came back and said…”It’s not coming from out there”. The next thing I remember is riding the rest of the way home and entering the house, looking at the digital clock on the dining table (can’t remember what time it read) and going to bed.The next morning while Mom and I sat at the table sipping on a cup of tea she remarked…”I wonder what that was…it seemed to come from above and behind us. I was too scared to turn around”. Well we were all terrified…of what I don’t know. It seemed almost ‘taboo’ to discuss the subject. We all felt violated for some reason. Nothing made sense to any of us. We felt like silence was an ‘instruction’ and we weren’t suppose to talk about this occurence. It still haunts me today because I can’t remember just what this was that invaded our lives. Both my parents are deceased now and I can only hope one day I’ll find the a! answers.
This was around the time of the Pascagoula, Ms. U.F.O. when Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson had their encounter.

The reason I’m sure this was in the time frame of the Pascagoula, Ms. u.f.o. is because when the story was announced on television with Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson, my mom stated: “I wonder if that was the same thing we saw.” The problem is all we remember seeing was this bluish-white light which engulfed our car__unless my mom was attempting to pull memories from her sub conscience and her statement was the result, yet couldn’t visualize a craft / u.f.o. in her waking state.
If memory serves me correct, I think Marsha Hill and Scott Peterson from WLOX were the main ones on the Pascagoula, Ms. u.f.o. story in 1973.

Late one afternoon in the summer of 1976, a friend and I were traveling I-55 and saw a UFO in the sky almost directly above us. I was driving the car and pulled over on the side of the interstate to get a closer look. It was a flying saucer. It was round in shape, had flashing lights in different colors and was hovering fairly close to the ground. It was not totally dark so we could clearly see it. We tried to think of everything it could be, but neither of us had ever seen anything like this. I know other drivers must have seen the same thing we saw, but we never heard any reports on the radio or television. I did call the local police department, but they told me it was probably just a weather balloon.

I’m 42 years of age now, but when I was a Green Elem.School 3rd grader(76-77)….my mom, sis and I spotted a huge round,oval-shaped metallic silver UFO with multi-colored lighting surrounding it as we returned from a relatives home in the Bel-Air area. We were near the railroad track on Northside Dr.,cause we had just turned of California Ave.
My sis and I panciked as the car slowed down, but mom slowed down so we could get a better view.
We were amazed how quickly it eased up and vanished.
We remember that experience like it was yesterday.
The following morning I told everyone at school from cafeteria workers…teachers to fellow classmates

In the summer of 1975, on the Mississippi River levee at Vidalia, LA, across from Natchez, MS, I witnessed a sight I can’t forget. There were 4, red, top diamond shaped object in the sky. Out of the center of these objects appeared a larger object.l It was white with flashing white and green lights around the bottom. The thing hovered over my car. The radio quit playing. I got out and looked up at it. There was a lot of wind. My state of mind at the time was shock. I had never seen anything like this. I rushed to a friends house. As soon as I ran to his door, the thing flew away at a very fast rate of speed. I went home and woke my parents. My Dad called every agency from Edward’s AFB in Alexandria, LA to Keesler AFB on the coast. Dad contacted all law enforcement agencies. No one knew of anything that should have been in the sky that night. To this day I am always looking at the sky. I know without a doubt we are not alone. I am still afraid although I was not harmed in any way. My friends have a hard time believing my story but it seems as if it happened just yesterday. It was real. And I believe.

It was late evening just a little before dusk dark. I believe it was 1979 but could give or take a year. I was around 14 at the time my self and a couple of other young people were sitting, or laying on the trunk of my grandfathers car, for the younger people who dont know, yes they use to be made out of real metal and you could do that. We were just talking and looking up at the sky when we noticed what appeared to be a large round light at about 8 oclock in the sky to the East of us it appeared to be hovering or slowly drifting to ward us. We discussed and pretty much decided we were watching a weather balloon. After maybe 20 mins. We noticed a jet coming from the WNW from Jackson Ms airport perhaps. As it got closer we could see that it appeared to be heading toward the round light. Just moments after we noticed it the light appeared to notice it to it moved quickly to the the North of its original position. The jet then changed course to intercept the lights new position. Once again when the jets direction became obvious the light zipped this time to the South of its original position. The jet altered course again to intercept the light. At this piont the jet was passed us and to our South closing on the light. The light hovered it seemed until there was absolutely no doubt that the jet intended to intercept it. Then it shot straight up through the atmosphere and was gone. The jet made a loop and flew back in the direction it came from. I know of nothing then that could fly straight up into space and disappear and nothing now that could hover and then fly into space or do it from stand still to gone that fast. Nothing.

I would like to share “an un-explained experience” that occurred in 1968. I’ve never shared this story with anyone. My next-door neighbor Tony Anthony and I were sitting on top of my dad’s wooden picnic table in my backyard in south Jackson one muggy hot summer night. We had been outside since 8:00 that night talking about what all was going on at our high school. We were getting tired and I had just looked at my watch to see how late it was (10:00), when we both heard a roaring sound above the pine trees in my backyard. We both looked up at the same time to see “something” that was full of light in the sky just above my backyard tree tops. Tony and I never took our eyes off of the lighted “thing” as we both said at the same time, “What Is That???”

The next thing that occurred is where my “un-explained experience” comes from….. All of a sudden my mother and father came outside yelling loudly at Tony and me – wanting to know “Where have you two been”…”We have been looking all over for both of you” …. “We were getting very worried about ya’ll” …. “Don’t you ever leave without telling us where you are going” ….

Tony and I looked at each other in total bewilderment for two reasons: First, we were no longer sitting on top of my dad’s picnic table, because now we were STANDING on top of the table (and neither one of us remembered going from “a sitting position” to “a standing-up position”). And, secondly….we never left my backyard (or I should say – Tony and I didn’t remember ever leaving my backyard).

My mother was beside herself after we told her “We haven’t been anywhere but sitting right here on the table talking”. She proceeded to yell at us again for “telling her a lie” because they had been looking for Tony and me for 2 1/2 hours. Tony and I looked down at our watches and I told my mother that “It was still just 10:00 and we haven’t been anywhere”. Well, that statement made my mother even madder because she told us that it wasn’t 10:00 …..it was 12:30 ….and we better not ever lie to her again.

Tony got down off of the picnic table and walked next door to his house, and I got down from the table and went inside my house. The next day Tony and I got together at his house and we talked and wondered about “what happened last night”. With none of it making any sense at all….we just tucked-away “the un-explained experience” that happened the night before, and we never discussed it ever again!

It ws aug97, and we had just moved into our house overlooking the ross barnett reservoir in ridgelandms. it was about midnite and extremely hot but it was august. my wife and i were sitting on our back patio facing the reservoir when we noticed a group of 4 small lights. but as they approached they got bigger and we realized it wasnt a plane. it was illuminated from the inside if that makes sense. just like it was glowing. they were all 4 diamond shaped making no noise and this is where it gets really weird. as they came over the western end of the rez, right over where the Dock used to be they made a 90 degree turn and changed in shape. they changed into 4 flying birds of some sorts. looked like pterodactyls (crazy i know). we swear we could hear their old paperlike wings flapping. it scared us so bad. my wife ran into the house to grab up our 3 year old and run into our bedroom. she was afraid they were coming after him. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY BUT IT HAPPENED! there was no alcohol or drugs in use by us.

In the spring of 1967 my wife and I were visiting family in Winona, MS. Headind back io Starkville on a gravel road 5 miles east of Winona we came up on a UFO moving toward the East. It was dark grey in color, smooth surface, saucer shaped, but a stretched
version. Dogs were barking at it. I would say it was 60 feet long, 15 feet in the middle and gradually shaped to a point at each end.
As it moved east the only sound we heard would be described as breezy in nature.

We turned around and followed it. When we arrived at my parents house they were still in the yard. They had seen it on the horizon shortly after we had left the house earlier. We watched it disappear over the hilly horizon, probably 2 miles to the east. At one point it seemed to pick up speed. As it traveled along we could hear dogs barking as they picked up it’s approaching sound or sensation. That is my story and I am sticking too it.
